August 4, 2013 -- 16 students were awarded the Dr. Terence N. Thomas Scholarship during the 2013 Jazz Brunch. The theme of the Brunch this year was Healthy Start: You Have The Power.
During the brunch, many fromm around the Milwaukee community were recognized for their leadership and commitment to the health of individuals in the community. Keynote speakers were Drs. Keevin and Denise Davis, also known as "Doctors In The Kitchen".
Also featured were the Mission Makeover Winners. These are women who took the challenge of losing weight and becoming more health conscious -- they have become an inspiration for so many others.
