Student Spotlight: Donavan Jackson

Donavan recently graduated this past December, on Saturday the 14th, finishing his undergrad career with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Art, a 3.135 cum GPA and a bunch of memories. Donavan says "The Dr. Terrance N. Thomas Scholarship has been so helpful in aiding my education, and my graduation is proof! I truly thank you all again."

He will be attending grad school the Spring 2014 semester, pursuing a Masters degree in Professional Development: Higher Education Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (where he recently graduated).

"I am very excited to embark on this new journey starting in a couple of weeks here, mid-late January when the semester starts back up. I am also excited to retain the Dr. Terrance N. Thomas scholarship again for the 6th year (Lord willing) next summer, granted I maintain a 3.0 this upcoming semester in grad school. I thank you all again for the love and support over the years, much of which has been detrimental to my education.

With Joy,

Donavan Elisha Jackson
